Question for you guys, please read: Imagine there is a new Sci-Fi Tabletop Wargame  made by War Scenery with it's own world, style and lore, characters, stories and more! All minis would be available as STLs or in Resin . The minis would be compatbile with most common wargames. A game would have 30-50 minis per side and have mechanics like Alternate Activations, Asymmertrical Factions, Customization, Off Board Gameplay, and more. How excited would you generally be? 5. New Videos about our Terrain: Two new Videos by these amazing creators have just dropped. Broadsword Wargaming covers the Castograd Heavy Walls and Trenches and TheModelMan covers one of the new Streets of Yarkassy Terrain Pieces! 5. And one last thing The next Campaign that you can expect from us will be the third Castograd Set (well at least thats very likely)... We haven't yet decided what the third set will be called, what do you suggest? As you know we had to end the Forces of Chaos Kickstarter early. We just wanted to confirm the new Renegade Guard Models will return in 2026 with some additional Reinforcements! Keep your eyes out! As for the Chaos Androids, we might have a very interesting suprise in connection to these very soon! Updated Collections: We have just released a significant update to these two collections. If you backed the Kickstarters, just use the link we sent at release, if you bought them in the shop, just send us a message or email :) As we are still big fans of this older collection we have taken a lot of time and re-visited every single file of this collection. The result is a totally new experience. You can expect: 5.1 WarForge Clips Implementation: All buildings have received our new Clip System to make assembly very easy! Each Floor Level can still be removed easily though. This is due to a new clip which only attaches to the lower level and makes the top removable without any trouble. 5.2 Printability Improved: The Terrain pieces, each file actually have been re-checked and re-worked to improve the printability by removing overhangs for example. 5.3 Scaling Refined: We have reduced the size of most of the buildings to make them more accessible and in line with Legion/Shatter Scale. This will also lead to: 5.4 Parts Count Reduced: While redefining the scale we could merge a lot of pieces into one. The Castograd Renegade Guardsmen is a rogue military unit that has appeared in now two of our Kickstarters, but who exactly are they, and what type of units do these Renegades bring to the field? This and more we will answer in the following article. 1. Unit Gallery: Here you can see all Units the Castograd Guard reportedly field: 1.1 Renegade Infantry Squad: The Renegade Infantry are the backbone of every Castograd Guard Regiment. They are seen of every battlefield and are lead by a sergeant and accompanied often by soldier with special weapons. 1.2 Renegade Veteran Squad: The Veterans are the hard hitting special forces and are only deployed to the hardest battlezones. They carry high energy lasguns and a variety of special gear. 1.3 Renegade Command Squad: The Command Squad consists of a Marshall and 4 Veterans. These distinguished fighters carry a banner, a war-drum, a vox and a medical kit. Lead your army! 1.4 Renegade Brutes Squad: More muscle than mind, the brutes are there to hack everything to pieces that comes near them, really effective bodyguards and linebreakers! 1.5 Renegade Regimental Banner & Wizard: The Regimental Banner Bearer and the Renegade Wizard can accompany Renegade Guard armies into battle bolstering the ranks with both metaphysical and physical prowess. 1.6 Heavy Weapon Teams: Heavy Weapon Teams operate medium to heavy weapons like lascannons and heavy bolters. They provide flexible fire support and are known for their reliability under harsh conditions. They use special heavy duty helmets and are equipped with shovels and gear to create a fortified positon. 1.7 Support Vehicles: New Intel shows that the Guard has acquired a lot of vehicles produced on Castograd to strenghten their armies as in the Fast Assault Vehicle and the Heavy Transport Lander. 2. Start Collecting: Castograd Guard: The best way to get the Renegade Guard is through the currently Live Kickstarter: Fall of Castograd. You can either get them as STLs or as Physical Prints. Buy the Miniatures as STLs: Buy Resin Printed Miniatures: 3. Banners and Insignias: The Castograd Guard uses a very small range of insignia and markings. Usually units will bring banners into battle bearing the Skull with four Lightning Bolts on a Black and White Background and an Iron Cross. Usually a stylized Scriptrole bearing either the name of Casto the Great after which the planet is named or sometimes another important name is added. Banners may also include a small square standing on one corner encompassing the regimental designation (below its the Vth Regiment). 4. Background: Castograd, once a jewel of the old empire, still glistens in the dark days after the great brother-war. Built by ancient architects, its strength endured under the governor’s iron creed: Obidencia. Laboris. Fidelis. But envy brought the armies of Terra, and everything changed. The apostate governor hastily recalled his regiments. The returning Castograd Guard, hardened by war, had changed—grim, bitter, and devoted to unholy powers. Their resolve, however, was unshaken. The imperial eagle broke its beak on cold, unyielding iron. Now the fortress lies under siege. The outer walls are breached, fires rage, but the defenders hold. Whispered heresies fuel their resistance as they unleash terrible weapons. The defenses falter. No help is coming. 5. Other Paint Schemes: 6. Dark Rumours Be cautious when invoking unholy powers to aid you in battle. When logic and reason are cast aside, when the laws of reality no longer matter, the tide can swiftly turn — and Master may become Slave. Do not summon what you are not prepared to endure! Dear Subscribers, we return in February with some news concerning War Scenery, your favourite German 3D design studio for all things wargaming. We just came home from LVO and a few new projects have been started in our studio. Read below to know what we are up to in the next months: 1. New Collab with DICED Dioramas: What an exiting new project we have started this year! We have been contacted by the guys at Diced Dioramas, popular YouTube Hobby Creators. They asked us to design some amazing Heresy themed Terrain Dioramas for them, well at least provide the STLs so they can turm then into a real diorama, with lights, minis, smoke and more. Definetly make sure to check the videos out below: 2. New Models available: We have released 3 new Items in our shop, the much belowed new Blizzard Troopers with their Tank Commander as well as the above mentioned Diorama! 3. Tactica 22.-23.February: We will be present once again at the Hamburger Tactica in Wilhelmsburg on the 22./23. of February. This year we have a different placement of our booth. If nothing changes see below how you will find us at the event! 4. Teasers: While we are working on Terrain and Vehicles for our next two Kickstarters, there have been some other mini related news as well. Do you have an idea what these happy fellows below could be up to? 5. Release of Rebel Command Base: We are releasing all files for Rebel Command Base at the end of next week: 6. Updates to Models: We have made some additions to some of our Chaos Models, namely the 4 different Plasma Generators. All of these have now received a seperated parts version allowing for some awesome transparent printing of the plasma energies or for LED insertion. 7. Adepticon 26.-30.March: Our third time at Adepticon draws near as well. Make sure not to fly to Chicago this year but to Milwaukee, its next door, but thats where the convention will be this year. We will have a very prominent spot there again, you pretty much can't miss us. More details soon :) On another note: Your support throughout the years has kept us running.
